Experience one of the most picturesque towns in the Gippsland region. Located on the doorstep to the Baw Baw National Park, Neerim South is the perfect place for a ride to view of some of West Gippsland’s fertile soils and beauty.
The gathering starts from 930am at the cafe code black in north Melbourne for a quick coffee and yarn. Around 10am we head east towards the Dandenong Ranges to see some rolling green hills and some quieter but windy country roads. At Yarra Junction we head south east towards Neerim South. The ride to lunch is approximately 1hr 45mins. Stops along the way are welcome. Lunch is at neerim south hotel which serves up traditional pub grub.
Heading home sees a short ride along country roads to the Monash Freeway (M1) where speeds up to 110km will take us home. The ride home is approximately 1hr 20mins. We should arrive home around 3ish.
