MMT Ride or Drive: David P’s Self-guided tour to Bright Weekend

I know, I know, we’re a Motorcycle Club, however, a growing number of our members are registering vehicles under our Club Permit Scheme. Based on that I thought we would hold our first official MMT Car Run. You can still come along to this event as a normal club ride, as it will be a mixed run.

I will send out an official route itinerary about a week ahead of the event, so you can mix things up and meet up at the various points along the way… ie, lunch, coffee breaks or simply make your own way out to Bright for some beautiful and spectacular autumn scenery.

So far, some of the confirmed details are as follows:

• Date: Saturday 29th April
• Depart Olinda Creek Hotel Lilydale at 10 am (arrive earlier if you want to get a coffee). Lunch will be at Mansfield via the Eildon Jamieson Road. Then Whitfield & Myrtleford to Bright.
• Preferred accommodation is at the Alpine Hotel in Bright, everyone is to book their own accommodation, it doesn’t matter if you book accommodation elsewhere as we’ll be having dinner and breakfast together anyway. Please note that the Alpine Hotel is now booked out, but you can ask to be a added to a waiting list if there are any cancellations.
