Paint on those stripes, fluff up your feathers and douse yourself in glitter to ride through St Kilda in Melbourne’s iconic parade of rainbows and pride. Victoria’s annual queer march brings us together to stand tall and be proud, to honour community members who have brought us forth and most importantly, to revel in the celebrations with our family, friends and allies. This year’s Midsumma Pride March returns to February and will highlight the diverse groups, personalities, sexualities and experiences that make our queer community so beautifully colourful. Everyone deserves to march and everyone deserves to be heard, to feel safe and to belong. We will remember that we are stronger as one and greater together! Rock up, frock up and fly your flags at the new start time of 11am, as we embark on the kilometre-long fanfare.
We’ll be riding up front with DOB. The event starts at 11 am but participants must arrive by around 9:30 am and note that registrations have now closed so unless you have registered with our group you can’t ride. You can find out more about the event at https://www.midsumma.org.au/info/midsumma-pride-march-info/
