MMT RIDE: Midsumma Pride March 2019

NOTE: The march this year commences at 11am to avoid the heat so Dykes on Bikes & MMT assemble and sign-in at the corner of Acland St and Fitzroy St at 9am.

Paint on those stripes, fluff up your feathers and douse yourself in glitter to ride through St Kilda in Melbourne’s iconic parade of rainbows and pride.

Victoria’s annual queer march brings us together to stand tall and be proud, to honour community members who have brought us forth and most importantly, to revel in the celebrations with our family, friends and allies.

This year’s Midsumma Pride March will highlight the diverse groups, personalities, sexualities and experiences that make our queer community so beautifully colourful. Everyone deserves to march and everyone deserves to be heard, to feel safe and to belong. We will remember that we are stronger as one and greater together!

Rock up, frock up and fly your flags at the new start time of 11am, as we embark on the kilometre-long fanfare to Catani Gardens for an afternoon of post-Pride festivities.
